The table-dwellers Delhi Capitals (DC) have travelled to their west to take on the table-topper Gujarat Titans (GT) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Tuesday in Match 44 of the Indian Premier League. However, weather prediction suggests that rain and thunderstorm may halt play between Gujarat and Delhi.
As per the weather application, it is partly cloudy in Ahmedabad at the moment, but there is a 30 per cent rain starting from 6 PM IST and going up till midnight.
Weather Prediction for Ahmedabad on Tuesday
Thus far, no game has been called off due to bad weather in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2023); however, as history suggests, May is the most rain-heavy month in the country.
Hardik Pandya's GT and David Warner's side have met twice in the IPL, with the defending champions getting the better of Delhi on both occasions.
The home team is on a two-match winning streak, while Delhi have just won two out of nine matches in the tournament thus far.
