Harshal Patel is here as Impact Player; Will KL Rahul Come Out to Bat?

Royal Challengers Bangalore have brought in Harshal Patel on a pitch tailor-made for a bowler of his class. True to its nature, the Lucknow pitch is gripping and spinning for the spinners and bowlers like Harshal, who depend more on change of pace.

And, in a tense moment when Krishnappa Gowtham was batting like a dream on a challenging track, Harshal got in and saw the LSG all-rounder lose his cool on 23 off 13 balls via a run-out from Sonu Yadav.

Defending a mere score of 126 runs, the RCB bowlers miraculously made a game for themselves from a situation where LSG were ruling. In a brink of an eye, the home team saw a half of their unit back in the hut as all of Bangalore's starting bowlers sprayed their magic.

All of RCB's bowlers chipped in with wickets, with Karn Sharma (2/20 in his 4) being the chief architect for the visitors' defence.

At the moment, Lucknow are crawling in the chase at 78-8 after 15 overs, with Amit Mishra and Naveen-ul-Haq in the middle.

It is understood that skipper KL Rahul - who pulled off his hamstring earlier in the match - could come out to bat if required. However, the right-handed opener is seen shadow-practising with his pads on but isn't in any condition to run. And as per IPL's rules, an injured player does not get a runner.
