A game of monumental proportions is set to unfold as England Women are set to take on Australia Women in the second ODI at The Rose Bowl, Southampton on Sunday, July 16. 

The exciting clash comes on the heels of England's impressive run, managing to bounce back from the solitary Test defeat to win the recent T20I series coming from behind, as well as, the first ODI.


Team Previews

 England

Led by Heather Knight, England sealed a thumping victory in the opening ODI. The captain's sterling performance with an unbeaten 75 off 86 balls ensured England secured their highest successful chase to date, ending the match with 11 balls to spare. As they head into the second ODI with a 1-0 lead, England will aim to clinch victory and keep their Ashes dream alive.


Australia

The first ODI witnessed a spirited effort from the Aussies, marked by Beth Mooney's unbeaten 81, and impressive bowling by Ashleigh Gardner and Georgia Wareham. However, despite these individual performances, Australia fell short of defending their 263/8, marking their third consecutive defeat in the series. Another defeat here will lead to the third ODI becoming the decider which is why Australia will look to secure a victory here and clinch the Ashes.
