England 

England, led by Jos Buttler, was brilliant in the second T20I game of the series, which they comfortably won. Jos Buttler played a match-winning 84 runs in the game. However, in the third game, Jos Buttler won't play as his wife is expecting their third child. In his absence, Moeen Ali, the vice-captain, is expected to lead England in this game.

Ben Duckett seems set to replace Buttler at the top of the order in Cardiff, with Will Jacks staying at three after his 23-ball 37 against Pakistan at Edgbaston on Saturday. 

Pace bowler Jofra Archer could be rested ahead of the last T20I. Tom Hartley, the spinner who took 9 wickets against India in a Test game, is expected to make his debut tonight ahead of trying him on the slow West Indian pitches.

For Pakistan, this game is a must-win ahead of the T20I World Cup. If Pakistan loses this game, they will lose the series to England, which might affect their confidence going into the World Cup 2024. Earlier, Pakistan faced challenges against Ireland in a three-game series. 

Although Pakistan won the series, they did lose one game against Ireland, who are placed in the same group as Pakistan in the World Cup.

Pakistan needs their big-name batters to stand up and perform big in this game. While Pakistan has strong bowlers, there is a question mark over the strength in depth of the side. 

Shaheen Afridi, with nine wickets from his last three T20Is, is expected to perform exceptionally well at Sophia Gardens.
