David Warner tonked his second Big Bash century, and the ninth of his T20 career overall by going berserk against Hobart Hurricanes in match number 21 of the BBL 2025-26 season.

Opening the innings for Sydney Thunder at the Sydney Showground Stadium, the legendary left-hander clattered 130* runs from just 65 balls with 11 cracking boundaries and nine huge sixes.

The innings also helped David Warner level up with India’s all-format great Virat Kohli to climb higher on the all-time century chart in T20 cricket.

With his latest knock, the cricketer managed to level up with India’s Virat Kohli and South Africa’s Rilee Rossouw in terms of recording the highest number of centuries in the game’s truncated format.

Following David Warner’s Sydney blitz, here is a look at five players with most centuries in T20 cricket.

In race to qualify for the finals stage, the Warner-led Thunder team need to win each of their remaining matches of the BBL 2025-26 season. At the moment, they are placed at the bottom of the eight-team points table with a solitary win from five matches.
