Zimbabwe opener Brian Bennett bludgeoned 111 runs off just 60 balls against Tanzania in match number nine of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Africa Regional Final in Harare. The cricketer launched two huge sixes and 15 boundaries in his scintillating knock as Zimbabwe mounted 221-5 in 20 overs.
Bennett also claimed a huge batting record in the process, eclipsing even Pakistan star Ahmed Shehzad and charismatic Indian batters Shubman Gill and KL Rahul.

Brian Bennett notched up his maiden T20I century by scoring 111 runs in 60 balls against Tanzania in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Africa Regional Final. His knock helped Zimbabwe secure a huge 113-run win in the game in Harare.
Bennett also became the youngest cricketer in history to score centuries in all three formats of the game, doing so at the age of just 21 years and 324 days. He shattered the previous record of 22 years and 127 days set by Pakistan batting maverick Ahmed Shehzad. Indian batting trio of Shubman Gill, Suresh Raina and KL Rahul all slipped a rung each in the top five youngest cricketers list for the rare record.

Apart from claiming the rare batting record, Brian Bennett tonked his third successive fifty-plus score in the game, all in Harare during the ongoing T20 World Cup Africa Regional Final. He started off his run-scoring ways by cracking 72 against Uganda last week, and followed it up with a swift 65 against Botswana a couple of days later.
