Bhuvneshwar Kumar picked up impressive figures of 3-33 against Delhi Capitals in match number 46 of the IPL 2025 season. Sharing the new ball with Yash Dayal at the Arun Jaitley Stadium for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), Kumar dismissed KL Rahul, Ashutosh Sharma and Tristan Stubbs.
Notably, the senior Indian speedster cleaned bowled Ashutosh in the 17th over of the Delhi Capitals innings, thus picking up his 41st wicket in such manner in his IPL career. Joining Jasprit Bumrah and going past Ravindra Jadeja, the 35-year-old is now among the leading bowlers in IPL history with the highest number of clean bowled wickets to their names.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar joins elite IPL list
Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who made his IPL debut back during the 2011 season of the tournament, picked up the 41st clean-bowled wicket of his career through the course of his three-wicket haul against Delhi Capitals in Delhi.
He went past Ravindra Jadeja in the process and currently stands fifth among bowlers with most clean-bowled wickets in the IPL. Here is a list of six bowlers with most wickets in such manner.

Apart from Bhuvneshwar Kumar, his pace mates Yash Dayal (1-42) and Josh Hazlewood (2-36) picked up three wickets between them, while spinner Krunal Pandya dismissed Faf du Plessis at an expense of just 28 runs from his four overs.
The Delhi Capitals managed to accrue 162-8 from 20 overs after getting invited to bat first by RCB skipper Rajat Patidar.
Notably, a win for the RCB franchise in the game will take them to the top of the IPL 2025 points table for the time being.
