Bhuvneshwar Kumar is one of the finest bowlers in the history of the IPL, and is still going strong at the age of 35. He played for Pune Warriors India initially, and then was the one of the pillars of SRH unit for a long time. He played a big role in their success and picked wickets both with the new ball and at the death, and is now doing the same for RCB in IPL 2025.

In the game against MI, he picked up a crucial wicket of Tilak Varma in the 18th over of the match to turn the game in RCB's favour and that took him to 184 IPL wickets. He went over Dwayne Bravo who had 183 wickets in 158 innings and become the most successful pacer in the history of the IPL.
Overall, he has moved to the number 3 position in the all-time wicket-takers of the IPL and is now only behind Yuzvendra Chahal and Piyush Chawla. Yuzvendra Chahal has 206 wickets in just 162 innings while Piyush Chawla has 192 wickets in 191 innings. Ravichandran Ashwin also has same number of wickets as Bravo while Sunil Narine has 182 wickets.
