It is an art to deliver under pressure and not many can do it better than the current English Test skipper, Ben Stokes. He has been absolutely magnificent right throughout his career across formats in crunch situations and once again in Headingley, he has taken his team to safer shores when they looked completely down and out.

Ben Stokes has played an enterprising knock of 80 off 108 balls in the third Ashes Test and has made sure that Australia go away with a lead of only 26 in the second innings. Aussies looked all set to take a big lead as England were 142-7 at one point in time in reply to Australia's 263. However, Stokes held one end up and decided to open his shoulders with tail alongside him and ended up getting to 6000 Test runs as well with back to back sixes off the bowling of Todd Murphy in the 51st over.

England in the end, have been bowled out for 237 with Stokes being the last man to depart. Talking about Ben Stokes, the man not only has over 6000 Test runs but has taken 197 wickets too which talks a lot about his quality. This is the second time in a row he has played a role of a lone warrior. In the second Test too, he smashed a magnificent 155 almost taking his team to a memorable victory single-handedly.

This third Test is evenly poised at the moment and let's see how Aussie batters go about their business in the second innings on a pitch that has some help for the pacers.
