BCCI releases MS Dhoni's six-hitting compilation video on 42nd Birthday

Recognizing his immense achievements, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) paid tribute to him on his special day by releasing a delightful 70-second video.

The compilation video crafted by the BCCI showcased some of the most memorable six-hitting moments from Dhoni's illustrious career. It commenced with a mesmerizing six off the delivery of Andre Russell during a T20I match between India and the West Indies in 2016.

The video culminated with Dhoni's emphatic six off Mitchell Starc in India's 2019 ODI World Cup encounter against Australia. Notably, the clip featured the reaction of the then-India captain, Virat Kohli, who was left awestruck by the sheer magnitude of Dhoni's 87-meter-long six.

The BCCI's video was accompanied by a unique thumbnail, capturing Dhoni in the Indian dressing room in his iconic jersey. In the image, he held the ICC World Cup 2011 trophy, symbolizing India's triumph under his inspirational captaincy.

Flanking him on either side were the Champions Trophy 2013 and T20 World Cup 2007 trophies Completing the scene was Dhoni's legendary No. 7 jersey, hanging in the background.

Reflecting on his remarkable international career, Dhoni boasts an impressive record of 350 One Day Internationals (ODIs) and 95 Test matches. Throughout these matches, he amassed a staggering 10,773 runs in ODIs and 4,876 runs in Test cricket.

Additionally, he represented India in 98 Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is), scoring 1,617 runs. While Dhoni bid farewell to international cricket in 2020, he continues to grace the field in the Indian Premier League (IPL), where he leads the Chennai Super Kings (CSK). Most recently, under his captaincy, CSK secured a historic fifth IPL title.
