On Thursday, two matches will take place in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram. Let’s take a quick preview of the two exciting contests ahead.

Match 17: Comilla Victorians vs Dhaka Dominators

Comilla Victorians will square off against Dhaka Dominators in Match 17 of the ongoing BPL 2023. 

The defending champions had a poor start to their campaign, with three losses in their first three games. However, they have bounced back well with two back-to-back wins in their last two outings. As a result, the Victorians are placed fourth in the points table with four points. 

Meanwhile, Dhaka Dominators started their campaign with a win but failed to extend their winning form and lost three games on the trot. They are placed at the bottom of the table with only one win out of the four games they played. 

Skipper Nasir Hossain will be hoping his side to come good in this match as they desperately need a win from this game to stay in the race for the knockouts.

Shakib Al Hasan and his men already won against Rangpur Riders in their previous fixture earlier in the tournament. They will be looking to repeat the same and strengthen their top two spots in the points table.

On the other hand, Rangpur Riders have been hot and cold this season. With two wins in four games, the Riders currently sit in the third position in the league standings. 

They are coming into this fixture after a 9-wicket defeat against the Khulna Tigers. So, the men in black will be looking to get back to winning form and go up the ladder in the points table.
