We are all set for the match 9 of the 17th edition of the Indian Premier League between Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Capitals. The battlefield is the home ground of RR - Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur and the home team will bat first after Rishabh Pant elected to bowl first after winning the toss.

Rajasthan Royals are going with the same team that delivered a strong performance against LSG while Rishabh Pant-led Delhi Capitals have Mukesh Kumar and Anrich Nortje in their XI. The duo come in the place of Ishant Sharma and Shai Hope respectively who are both out because of injuries.

Here are the Playing XIs of both the sides -

Delhi Capitals Playing XI: Mitchell Marsh, David Warner, Ricky Bhui, Rishabh Pant (c & wk), Tristan Stubbs, Axar Patel, Sumit Kumar, Kuldeep Yadav, Anrich Nortje, Khaleel Ahmed, Mukesh Kumar

DC Impact Players: Kumar Kushagra, Abhishek Porel, Jake Fraser-McGurk, Praveen Dubey, Rasikh Salam

Rajasthan Royals Playing XI: Yashasvi Jaiswal, Jos Buttler, Sanju Samson (c & wk), Riyan Parag, Shimron Hetmyer, Dhruv Jurel, Ravichandran Ashwin, Trent Boult, Avesh Khan, Sandeep Sharma, Yuzvendra Chahal

RR Impact Players: Rovman Powell, Shubham Dubey, Nandre Burger, Kuldeep Sen, Tanush Kotian.

It is the 100th game for Rishabh Pant for DC in IPL and he would be itching to make a big impact after failing to go big despite a decent start in the first game. Their top order need to score runs as well, and a lot will depend on the Australian duo of Marsh and Warner. It is a surprise that they have decided to omit Prithvi Shaw again who can change the game in the Powerplay, if he gets going.

As far as RR is concerned, they would be looking to go big with the bat once again while batting first and if their top 3 fire, we might see them bringing in Burger again as an Impact player in the second half. Sanju Samson was the star with the bat in the first game and they also have the option of Rovman Powell as an Impact Player if they lose early wickets in this game.

It promises to be a cracking game, and a lot will depend on the first few overs of RR innings and how DC bowlers go about their business against the might of Yashasvi Jaiswal and Jos Buttler.
