It was a turbulent, trail-blazing innings from the Indian women's opener, Smriti Mandhana, who played a gem of a knock against the Australian women at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Opening the innings alongside Pratika Rawal, Mandhana scored a blistering 125 off 63 deliveries, giving India a solid head start in the mammoth chase.

Mandhana's Sensational Knock That Stole The Show

Australian women, after batting first, were all out for 412 after 47.5 overs, thanks to Beth Mooney's knock of 138 off 75 deliveries alongside Georgia Voll's 81 off 68. At the same time, Ellyse Perry's 68 off 72 helped the Kangaroos' women's side post one of the highest totals in women's cricket.

The game certainly looked out of the question when Indian opener Smriti Mandhana walked out to the centre and did an immaculate job of putting the Australian side under pressure.
