Rajasthan Royals (RR) won the toss and opted to bowl first against the Sunrisers Hyderabad  (SRH)  in the Qualifier 2 of the IPL 2024 at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium on 24 May.

SRH have made two changes: They brought Aiden Markram and Jaydev Unadkat in place of Vijayakanth Viyaskanth and Shahbaz Ahmed while RR are going with the same playing XI

Sanju Samson (Rajasthan Royals Captain): "We would like to bowl here first looking at what Chepauk normally offers at the 2nd stage of a match. We are trying our best to recover. Our doctors and physios are doing their best to get us fit. Me and Sanga were discussing that we batted to 70% of our potential and still managed to cross the line. We need to do a bit better with batting."
