Pakistan and England are poised to clash in the second T20I of the ongoing four-match series at Edgbaston Stadium in Birmingham on 25th May.

The previous match was abandoned due to rain, leaving both teams eager for a decisive encounter.

The Babar Azam-led Pakistan team is looking to secure a win to gain an upper hand in the series. With this match being crucial, significant changes are expected in the lineup.

Notably, star speedster Shaheen Afridi might be rested, as he has been playing consecutively and could need a break before the upcoming T20 World Cup.

Afridi has been in phenomenal form, particularly in the last T20I against Ireland, where he took three wickets for just 14 runs in four overs with an economy rate of 3.50.

If Afridi is rested, Haris Rauf is likely to take his place. The batting lineup remains strong, with Saim Ayub and Mohammad Rizwan opening, followed by Babar Azam at number three. The middle order, featuring Fakhar Zaman, Azam Khan, and Iftikhar Ahmed, also looks promising.

On the bowling front, Pakistan boasts a formidable pace attack with Shaheen Afridi, Abbas Afridi, and Naseem Shah. The spin department will be led by Abrar Ahmed and Imad Wasim.
