No Rohit; Siraj Picks His RCB-Mate Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni In An Ultimate Street Cricket Side

In an interesting take, when Mohammed Siraj was asked to choose a four-man side in a fantasy world called Ultimate Street Cricket, the RCB speedster chose Virat Kohli, and CSK's immortal MS Dhoni, but ignored India's all-format captain Rohit Sharma.

Australia's legendary leg-spinner Shane Warne, who mysteriously passed away in March 2022 at the age of 52, was the other member on Siraj's side. Of course, Siraj included himself in the unit as well.

The calls taken by Siraj was no surprise, to be fair, as he has always been a big fan of Kohli, who helped him grow his international career when the talismanic batter was in charge. Under Kohli, Siraj wreaked havoc in Tests and ODIs, and he is still the fourth-ranked ODI bowler in the latest ICC Rankings, ahead of Jasprit Bumrah.

Needless to say, it has been a dream of many to see Kohli and Dhoni play together in the same franchise. The duo has been an integral part of India’s success in the last decade or so, and from across the globe, they have been rewarded with legion of followers.

Adding Rohit could be an ideal, but Siraj had to pick a wicket-keeper, a batter, a spinner, and a fast bowler in his squad, and it forced him to ignore Rohit for Virat.
