Afghanistan had a dream start with the ball in the first ODI, restricting Pakistan to a paltry 201-run total, thanks to incredible performances from Rashid Khan, Mohammad Nabi and Mujeeb Ur Rahman. However, their batting unit had an horrendous outing, as they were bundled out for their second-lowest ODI total, 59, inside 20 overs. 

Therefore, moving on to this game, the hosts would like better returns from Ibrahim Zadran, Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Rahmat Shah and Hashmatullah Shahidi.

On the other hand, Pakistan were phenomenal with the ball in the first game, as Haris Rauf's incredible fifer stole the limelight. While Shaheeh Afridi and Naseem Shah bullied the Afghans with the new ball, Rauf's searing pace was too hot to handle for the hosts. 

However, Pakistan would like better performances from their batters, particularly Babar Azam, Fakhar Zaman and Mohammad Rizwan, who fell cheaply in the first game.
