Further, Sharma has joined the elite list of players such as Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, who have 100+ sixes in IPL history. Further, it is worth noting that Sharma has become the 41st player in the league's history to have 100+ sixes. 

Overall, Chris Gayle holds the record for most sixes in IPL history (357), followed by Rohit Sharma, who has 297 sixes and is eyeing to become the first Indian to have 300 IPL sixes. Talking about the ongoing match, at the time of writing this article, SRH are going strongly and have put 119/1 on the board after 9 overs. 

It is worth noting that Abhishek has another great IPL season as the southpaw amassed 439 runs in 13 innings.
