It was a fighting knock from the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) star Rinku Singh who fought till the end against the SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) chasing 229 for victory. Rinku achieved the feat in 27 balls as he later went on to score 58 not out from 31 deliveries staying their right till the end.

The left-hander accompanied his skipper Nitish Rana at the other end whose innings ended after scoring a magnificent 75 from just 41 balls.

KKR could only manage 205 on the board as they lost the game by a margin of 23 runs after Harry Brook's ton propelled the Sunrisers to massive total of 228.

This comes after Rinku slammed a 48 in the last game as he struck five consecutive sixes in the last over to seal the game for his side against Gujarat Titans.

Rinku's innings against Hyderabad came at a strike rate of 187 as the 25-year-old thumped four fours and as many maximums but unfortunately in a losing cause.
