Mitchell Marsh is the captain of Australia in T20Is, and has been in great form in IPL 2025. He has been impactful with his power-hitting, and in the final game of the season, the batter has crossed 5000-run mark in the shortest format of the game. He started with 15 runs away from the landmark against RCB, and got to it on the final ball of the powerplay.
Mitchell Marsh Continues His Stellar Form Against RCB
Mitchell Marsh has been in great form in IPL 2025, and has crossed the 600-run landmark in an IPL season for the first time. He has been one of the pillars of LSG's batting line-up along with Aiden Markram and Nicholas Pooran and has finally lived upto his billing in IPL after inconsistent performances in the previous seasons.
Talking about Mitchell Marsh's T20 career, he made his debut in the format way back in 2009 for Western Australia. He has two hundreds and 32 fifties in the format, and has been very successful in BBL. However, his career has been hampered by injuries, and in IPL 2025 too, he did not bowl because of injury concerns.
However, he has stepped up with the bat and scored his sixth fifty of the season against RCB. Australia would be hoping that he continues this form at the international level as well and take them to a title win in the 2026 T20 World Cup.
