Delhi Capitals (DC) were going well against SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) during their chase as just 86 were required off 53 balls with two set batters Phil Salt and Mitchell Marsh at the crease and nine wickets in hand when the former lost his wicket courtesy of an unbelievable catch by Mayank Markande off his own bowling.

This shifted the momentum of the game as Delhi crumbled under pressure with one bringing two and two bringing three and in the end, they fell short by 9 runs to reach 188 by the end of their 20 overs.

Markande was bowling the second ball of the 11th over of the game when Salt who was batting on 59 from 34 balls played one back at him and the leg-spinner didn't let the opportunity go.

Earlier, SRH's skipper Aiden Markram won the toss and chose to bat first with his decision proving right as Abhishek Sharma and Heinrich Klassen notching up their fifties to push their side to 197.

Moreover, during the second innings, their bowlers did a wonderful job Mayank being the standout with two wickets for 20 runs in his four overs.

After this victory, SunRisers Hyderabad will next face Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on 4th May whereas Delhi Capitals will look to bounce back when they fight it out against Gujarat Titans (GT) on 2nd May.
