Delhi Capitals have had a mix season so far. There season started with losses but, they were quick to show signs of resurgence with wins against LSG, GT, MI. However, they did not fare too well as their most recent game, played against Kolkata Knight Riders, saw the entire team collapse. 

Despite winning the toss and choosing to bat first, Rishabh Pant's DC could not get a hold of themselves, resulting in their wickets tumbling at frequent intervals and a meagre score of 153 being set. Prithvi Shaw, Jake Fraser-McGurk, Tristan Stubbs all failed to fire their bat that led to KKR easily chasing the total with just three wickets gone in the second innings.

In the upcoming game against Sanju Samson's Rajasthan Royals, DC would hope to bounce back to their winning ways and register a mammoth total for the visitors. On their best days we've seen DC set target of 257 as well. 

Hence, if Delhi wins the toss they would once again opt to bat first at their home ground, considering that most of their wins have come when they bat fearlessly without any pressure. Moreover, looking statistically Delhi Capitals hold slight edge over Rajasthan Royals, having won six of the last ten games they've played against one another.

On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals, who did lose their most recent outing to SunRisers Hyderabad by just one run, has indeed had an outstanding tournament so far. 

Having won eight of the ten games they've played, the entire RR contingent looks in good-form despite their last game. If there's one statement that RR have lived by this season its, 'We will bounce back stronger'; and that has been evident in all of their performances.

Talking about their game against the Pat Cummins' led side, their defeat mainly can be credited to the bowlers, who were brutally thrashed by Travis Head, Heinrich Klaasen and Nitish Kumar Reddy. 

Yuzvendra Chahal went back wicket-less and with hefty pocket full of 62 runs, along with Ravichandran Ashwin and Trent Boult who also went back empty handed. Avesh Khan and Sandeep Sharma managed to break partnerships and restrict them to 200. 

While chasing too, after back-to-back unlucky ducks of Jos Buttler and Sanju Samson the team was rocked but the partnership between Yashasvi Jaiswal and Riyan Parag helped RR come close to victory but not taste it due to the last ball heroics of Bhuvneshwar Kumar. In their upcoming game, they would look to regroup and shift focus to their aim, as they are just one victory away from making to the playoffs.
