Litton Das, one of the finest batsmen for Bangladesh, is having a torrid run of form. The 29-year-old made 1 and 23 in the first two T20Is of the five-match series against Zimbabwe.
He had an opportunity to turn things around on Tuesday when the two sides met again at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chattogram for the third affair of the tie.
Yet, he disappointed his ardent fans, as he tried a cute shot against a red-hot Blessing Muzarabani, resulting in him paying the price.
It was the fourth ball of the fourth over by Muzarabani, when Litton tried to play a paddle scoop against ace Zimbabwean pacer. The bowler, however, was too smart for it, as he did not give any room to Litton to play the shot. As a result, the ball went straight to the leg stump after the Bangladeshi opener walked across the stumps to drag it onto the wicket after a sluggish 15-ball 12.
