The Indian Premier League (IPL) has been the centre of attention for cricket fans all over the world since its inception in 2008. The ongoing IPL 2023 will soon witness a remarkable milestone with its 1000th match, an awe-inspiring feat for any sporting event.

As per the IPL 2023 schedule, the 42nd match will be played between Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals at the iconic Wankhede Stadium. The clash will witness a momentous milestone as the league attains this outstanding feat.

It is noteworthy that the league has witnessed several legends who have made history, with the likes of Brendon McCullum, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Chris Gayle, and MS Dhoni, among others etching their names in the tournament's record books.
