Jaiswal-Buttler Slams 68-0 In First Six Overs; DC Bowlers Look Helpless

The Rajasthan Royals openers seem one of the most daunting pairs in the tournament, with both Yashasvi Jaiswal and Jos Buttler complimenting each other. And the left-right combination batters surged against Delhi Capitals in Guwahati, hitting 68 for no loss in the first six overs.

At the end of the powerplay, Jaiswal is at 41* off 21 balls, while Buttler is unbeaten on 24 off 15 deliveries.

Jaiswal started the show for RR, hitting five boundaries off the first over of the match, which Khaleel Ahmed bowled. Buttler continued the charge, slamming three more boundaries in the next over off Anrich Nortje.

The slam show was continued against Mukesh Kumar and Axar Patel; however, Nortje bowled a 5-run over to pull things a tad towards DC's way.

After all the hammering, the Capitals would have hoped that the drinks break to stop the momentum, but nothing worked for them, as after the break, the DC spinners were tonked all across the park.

Jaiswal smashed a 25-ball fifty in the process as Buttler played the second-fiddle to the youngster, but Mukesh Kumar soon tied screws.

At the time of writing, RR have touched the 100-run mark with Buttler and Sanju Samson in the middle.
