In between all the international and league cricket, fans will be able to watch the old guard take the field when the second edition of the Legends League Cricket Masters (LLC) 2023 gets underway from March 10 to March 20.

Former greats from all over the cricketing world will descend upon Qatar, where — India Maharajas, Asia Lions, and World Giants — will clash in a three-team competition to determine the next champion.

The World Giants are the defending champions, having defeated the Asia Lions in the first edition last year.

India Maharajas

Led by former India opener and IPL-winning captain Gautam Gambhir, the Maharajas will have the likes of Suresh Raina, Irfan Pathan, Harbhajan Singh, Mohammad Kaif, and S Sreesanth amongst their ranks.

India Maharajas will be coached by former South Africa international Lance Klusener.

World Giants

The title holders Giants will be skippered by recently retired ICC T20 World Cup 2021-winning Australian skipper Aaron Finch. Finch under his wing will have a star-studded line-up consisting of Brett Lee, Jacques Kallis, Ross Taylor, Shane Watson, Chris Gayle, and Hashim Amla, to name a few.

Former Zimbabwe coach Lalchand Rajput will coach the Giants.

Asia Lions

The Asia Lions will be captained by Pakistan's maverick all-rounder Shahid Afridi and will have a plethora of subcontinental stars to pick from, ranging from Muthiah Muralitharan, Asghar Afghan, Tilakaratne Dilshan, Paras Khadka, Abdur Razzak and Shoaib Akhtar.

Former Sri Lanka player Dav Whatmore will coach the Lions.

All matches will be played at the Asian Town Stadium in Doha. The first match will be played between India Maharajas and Asia Lions.
