Indian leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal took to social media on Friday, September 27, to celebrate his wife Dhanashree Verma’s birthday. Chahal posted a series of affectionate pictures of the couple on his official Instagram account, accompanied by a touching caption: "Another year older, another year more fabulous! Dhanashree Verma has made a name for herself both as a professional dancer and choreographer, while also holding a degree in dentistry from DY Patil College, Mumbai. Chahal and Verma’s journey to love is a modern romance, with their paths crossing during the COVID-19 lockdown, a time that unexpectedly blossomed into something much deeper.

Their love story is as unique as it is heartwarming. Yuzvendra Chahal, a household name in Indian cricket, first reached out to Dhanashree for dance lessons during the pandemic-induced lockdown in 2020. Interestingly, when he approached her via Instagram, Dhanashree wasn’t aware of his stature in cricket. 

The culmination of their love story was their wedding on December 22, 2020, an event that seamlessly blended tradition and modernity. Their fairytale wedding, shared on social media, was a grand yet intimate affair, capturing the essence of their connection.

Chahal's Significant Contribution In County Championship

Yuzvendra Chahal made a notable impact in English domestic cricket. The crafty leg-spinner was signed by Northamptonshire for the County Championship Division Two, where he quickly proved his worth.

Chahal featured in the team's final match of the One-Day Cup and impressed with a stunning five-wicket haul. His red-ball form in the County Championship was equally remarkable, as he bagged 19 wickets from seven innings.
