Popular RJ Mahvash, the co-owner of the Supreme Strikers in the Champions League T10 (CLT10) 2025, has named her favourite cricketers from the current Indian team. The list includes Punjab Kings stars Yuzvendra Chahal and Shreyas Iyer, alongside T20 World Cup heroes Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah.

Her team, led by former Australian batter Shaun Marsh, is enjoying an unbeaten run in the indoor cricket league, having won their first three matches of the tournament. Speaking on the sidelines of the league, Mahvash revealed the Indian players she most enjoys watching.

Mahvash Snubs Kohli, Names Chahal, Shreyas As Favourites

In a video interview done by Ishan Lalwani, as posted on his Instagram reel, on the sidelines of the tournament, Mahvash didn't forget to pick his rumoured boyfriend, Yuzvendra Chahal, alongside Shreyas Iyer, Jasprit Bumrah, as well.

"From the current Indian cricket team, I like Hardik Pandya. I really like Bumrah. I am looking forward to see Shreyas play as well and Yuzi, of course," she said.

RJ Mahvash On Shreyas Iyer's Asia Cup Snub

The radio jockey also expressed her disappointment over Shreyas Iyer's omission from India's squad for the upcoming 2025 Asia Cup. Despite a phenomenal IPL 2025 season where he led Punjab Kings to the final and scored 604 runs, Iyer was left out of the 15-member squad and even from the standby list.

"Of course I felt bad but there was not much place in the team too. But a report came that Shreyas is going to be made ODI captain. Let's look forward to that. I think there has to be place for him," she said.

However, recent reports subsequently quoted BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia dismissing the rumours of Iyer's appointment as ODI captain, stating that no such discussions had taken place.
