Star cricketer Virat Kohli, known for his love of energetic Punjabi tracks and Bollywood artist Arijit Singh, has recently embraced an unexpected musical favourite. In a social media video released by RCB, the star revealed his go-to song now.
Though Kohli is majorly seen in his aggressive and serious avatar on the ground, he is a dressing room charmer with his over-the-top energy and enthusiasm. His playlist also reflects the same vibe but not necessarily the one that Virat Kohli is currently listening.
Virat Kohli Shocks With His Latest Music Obsession!
In the social media clip from RCB, Virat Kohli was seen revealing his most favourite song right now, the Tamil hit Nee Singam Dhan. The soulful track, composed by AR Rahman and sung by Sid Sriram, features in the 2023 film Pathu Thala.

“My favourite song right now? You will be shocked. (Plays the song on his phone and shows it to the camera) Nee Singam Dhan,” Kohli said in the RCB clip, which quickly went viral.
Despite Tamil not being his native language, the New Delhi-born athlete has been hooked to the melody, looping it incessantly during his downtime. The song’s blend of Rahman’s composition and Sriram’s vocals appears to resonate deeply with the cricketer, marking a rare departure from his usual playlist.
Virat Kohli's Smooth Sailing in IPL So Far
On the field, the 36-year-old opener continues to dominate IPL 2025, amassing 443 runs in 10 matches at an average of 63.29 and a strike rate of 138.87. With six half-centuries, he trails just 13 runs behind Gujarat Titans’ Sai Sudharsan in the Orange Cap race.
RCB, currently leading the points table with seven wins, will face Chennai Super Kings on May 3 at Bengaluru’s M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. A victory could solidify their playoff berth, while CSK, already eliminated, languish at the bottom.
