Who is Orry? Social Media Star Set To Commentate Alongside Sachin Tendulkar In IPL 2024 Opener

The carnival of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 is about to begin, and broadcasters both - TV and digital are leaving no stones unturned to garner as much traction as possible.

In a bid to attract viewership, Jio Cinema, who is presenting the IPL 2024 on digital platforms, has invited social media personality Orhan Awatramani, or better known as 'Orry'. 

The social media star will commentate alongside former India legend Sachin Tendulkar during the tournament opener between of the IPL 2024, which takes place this evening.

The inclusion of Orry means Jio wants to please the 'Gen Z', who form a huge fan base for the social media star. Orry has gained fame for his unique style, and over-the-top clothing, that distinguishes him from other influencers.

Awatramani apart from being a social celebrity also holds the position of Special Project Manger at Reliance Industries Limited (RIL). 

Orry is a huge hit amongst Bollywood stars and even cricketers, having clicked photos with Yuzvendra Chahal, Shubman Gill, Pandya Brothers - Hardik and Krunal, and Ishan Kishan.

Apart from Orry, popular singer Badshah, comedian Munawar Faruqui, and actor Ravi Kishan will be giving their take on the match on hand in Chennai. Badshah will join the Haryanvi commentary panel, while Kishan and Faruqui will join Bhojpuri and Gujarati cemetery box, respectively. 

Faruqui will be seen alongside former India cricketer Ajay Jadeja, and Kishan will be joined by former India great Virender Sehwag.
