Indian World Cup winner and former head coach Ravi Shastri made headlines when rumours of his alleged relationship with a 41-year-old Bollywood actress, Nimrat Kaur, surfaced in the media. Let's explore more about Nimrat Kaur.

Ravi Shastri is a famous former Indian cricketer and a prominent figure in the world of cricket. He had a successful career as a player and later transitioned into coaching and commentary roles. 

Under his tenure, India witnessed enormous success in the Test format. Shastri and Kohli built a formidable bond on the grounds of their aggressive mindset and brought a revolution in Indian cricket.

Besides his on-field journey, Ravi Shastri made waves when speculations of his alleged romance with Bollywood actress Nimrat Kaur made headlines. 

Who Is Nimrat Kaur?

Nimrat Kaur, born on March 13, 1982, in Pilani, Rajasthan, comes from a Punjabi family with a military background. 

While she made her Bollywood debut in 2005, Kaur has appeared in several Bollywood films as well as international projects. She notably played a recurring role in a popular American television series, "Homeland," during its fourth season.

In India, the actress gained widespread recognition for her roles in films such as "The Lunchbox", where she starred alongside Irrfan Khan, and "Airlift" opposite Akshay Kumar. Nimrat Kaur's performances have been praised for their depth and authenticity. 

However, her alleged affair with 61-year-old Ravi Shastri grabbed many headlines. Apparently, the duo met at an event hosted by an automobile brand and grew fond of one another. Not only that, some reports also claimed that Shastri and Kaur dated for nearly two years.

However, neither Nimrat nor Shastri ever confirmed the alleged romantic relationship.  It's important to note that Ravi Shastri divorced his previous spouse, Ritu Singh, a decade ago.
