Shubman Gill’s Gujarat Titans succumbed to a six-wicket larruping at the hands of Delhi Capitals in match number 32 of the IPL 2024 season on April 17. The dashing opener himself could manage just eight runs with the bat before his team enveloped for 89 in 17.3 overs by the visiting bowlers.

Later in the run-chase, Delhi Capitals catered themselves past the finishing line with more than 11 overs still intact in the game.

Notably, at one stage of Gujarat Titans’ forgettable evening at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium, captain Shubman Gill was seemingly bowled over by a certain fangirl, as the cricketer was apparently caught on camera swooning over the said-spectator.

At one stage of the match, Shubman Gill was seemingly spotted swooning over a Gujarat Titans fangirl as the latter was enjoying the cricketing exhibition on offer from the stands of the Narendra Modi Stadium.

Interestingly, the fangirl in question had also became the talk of the cricketing town earlier in the game, with several fans claiming that she resembled Cuban-based Hollywood actress Ana de Armas.

As far as cricket is concerned, Delhi Capitals blanked hosts Gujarat Titans by six wickets and with 11.1 overs to spare. Visiting captain Rishabh Pant was adjudged as ‘Player of the Match’ for his unbeaten 16 and for his involvement in four dismissals behind the stumps.

Under the leadership of Shubman Gill, a dejected Gujarat Titans group will now march on to Mullanpur to face Punjab Kings in match number 37 of the IPL 2024 season on April 21.
