Oman’s Quest for Consolation

On the other hand, Oman, having been knocked out of the competition, remain winless with two defeats from as many games. Their last outing against Pakistan A was a challenging one as they succumbed to a 74-run loss.

Oman's bowlers struggled to contain their opponents, allowing 185/5. Muzahir Raza managed to take 2 wickets for 29 runs in his three overs, but the rest of the attack, apart from Samay Shrivastava who took 1/18 in four overs, proved costly.

In the batting department, Oman's lineup showed initial promise but couldn't capitalize on their starts. Captain Jatinder Singh scored 24, Wasim Ali added 28, and Hammad Mirza contributed 14 runs.
