Bollywood superstar and KKR co-owner Shahrukh Khan seems to be in awe of young leg-spinner Suyash Sharma’s hairstyle.

After KKR crashed Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) by eight wickets at the Eden Gardens on April 14, Shahrukh Khan greeted and congratulated his troops on the field and was involved in a seemingly friendly chat with a number of players. The franchise co-owner also caught up with 20-year-old Suyash Sharma, who parted ways from his long locks to don a new haircut.

The Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) franchise shared a video of a brief interaction between young spinner Suyash Sharma and team co-owner Shahrukh Khan on April 16.

In the footage, Shahrukh Khan can be seen admiring Suyash Sharma’s new haircut as he jokingly expressed his desire of donning a similar hairstyle soon.

Suyash Sharma shot himself to prominence for the KKR franchise back during IPL 2023 itself. In his debut T20 appearance, the cricketer snapped three RCB wickets at the Eden Gardens.

Sharma recently featured for KKR in their high-scoring home game against the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on March 23. As of now, he and the rest of his KKR colleagues are prepping themselves to face table-toppers Rajasthan Royals in match number 31 of the IPL 2024 season.

The much-awaited contest will also be staged at the Eden Gardens on April 16. A win at this stage of the competition might well help the KKR displace the Rajasthan Royals from the top of the 10-team standings.
