India star cricketer Rishabh Pant is known for his fun and playful nature off the field, and his latest viral video is proof of that! A video of the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) captain is making waves on social media, where he can be seen singing the popular Pakistani song Afsanay by Young Stunners.

Rishabh Pant Stuns Zaheer Khan With His Singing

In the clip, Pant sings with full enthusiasm while LSG mentor Zaheer Khan listens and seems quite impressed. LSG shared the video on their social media accounts with a fun caption: "Part-time wicketkeeper-batter. Full-time karaoke singer."

Ahead of IPL 2025, LSG made a big move by appointing Pant as their new captain, replacing KL Rahul. The team bought him for a record-breaking ₹27 crore at the IPL mega auction held in Jeddah last year, making him the most expensive player in IPL history.

Rishabh Pant's IPL Journey So Far

Pant started his IPL career in 2016 with Delhi Capitals (previously known as Delhi Daredevils) and played for them for eight straight seasons. Over the years, he has been a key player, scoring 3,284 runs in 111 matches at an impressive average of 35.31 and a strike rate of 148.93. His IPL record includes one century and 18 half-centuries.

Apart from IPL, Pant was also part of the Indian squad that won the 2024 T20 World Cup and the recently concluded ICC Champions Trophy 2025.

Lucknow Super Giants will begin their IPL 2025 campaign against Delhi Capitals on March 24 at the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium.
