Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) batter, Nitish Rana is making the most of his break from cricket with a refreshing trip to London.

Sakshi Pant’s food adventures in London with 'Brother' Rana went viral

Joining him on this trip is Delhi teammate Rishabh Pant’s sister, Sakshi Pant, who is presently in England for her academic pursuits.

A video of Rana and Sakshi, bonding over their love for food, has caught the attention of netizens and rapidly went viral. The delightful footage shows the duo celebrating with their food against the backdrop of iconic landmarks, including Old Trafford and various London streets.

Sakshi posted this video and affectionately referred to Rana on Instagram as her "brother from another mother". 

Her caption read, “We don’t necessarily have to talk, we can communicate silently by sharing food.”



Rana's fascination with Manchester United is no secret to his fans. The southpaw, who proudly identifies as a devoted Manchester United fan, realized his dream last year with a visit to the Old Trafford stadium, a trip that saw the club gifting him a special jersey.

Maintaining the tradition, Rana was spotted this year too, cheering for Manchester United during their season opener against Wolves. Several cherished memories from the game found a place on his Instagram profile.

On the cricketing front, Rana recently procured a No Objection Certificate (NOC) and other requisite clearances from the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA). Confirming this development, DDCA joint secretary, Rajan Manchanda intimated that Rana is slated to represent Uttar Pradesh in the upcoming domestic cricket seasons.

Recalling the previous Ranji season, Rana's tenure as Delhi’s captain witnessed an unexpected end. The DDCA subsequently announced Yash Dhull as the successor.

The 29-year-old, with a First-Class Cricket average of 39.79, has scoredd 2507 runs in 44 matches. In List A Cricket, he has amassed 2209 runs in 71 fixtures with an average of 38.75. His T20 record stands impressive with 4275 runs from 175 matches.
