Afghanistan, on Sunday (August 27) announced a 17-member squad for the Asia Cup 2023. The tournament is all set to begin on August 30 and will be co-hosted by Sri Lanka and Pakistan.
Hashmatullah Shahidi will continue leading the team. Meanwhile, the likes of Karim Janat and Azmatullah Omarzai have been recalled to the team. In addition to this, Rahmat Shah, Najibullah Zadran, who were injured and missed out the three-match ODI series against Pakistan have made their way back into the squad.
