Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), dynamic batter, was seen making sweet gestures for his wife Anushka Sharma in the IPL match against Gujarat Titans on May 4, 2024. It was a remarkable night for the home team as RCB outplayed GT in all aspects and won the match by 4 wickets. 

Virat Kohli smashed 42 runs off 27 balls along with a significant contribution from Faf du Plessis scoring 64 runs off 23 balls chasing down the target. The legendary Indian batter has reclaimed his Orange cap and is currently at 542 runs in 11 matches with a strike rate of 148.08. 

In the match against GT, a video went viral on social media, Virat Kohli was seen making a sweet gesture for his, wife Anushka Sharma, as this was the first match she had made a public appearance in IPL, after the birth of their second child, Akaay. 

Anushka was in the stands supporting RCB, after winning the match, Virat Kohli made a sweet gesture for his wife as he was making his way back to the pavilion. 

The star Indian batter made an animated gesture, such as pretending to carry an 'aarti ki thali' to welcome and greet her presence in the stadium.

Before this, the couple was celebrating Anushka's birthday with the RCB players in a private gathering. The Bollywood actress was away from public appearances after the arrival of their newborn on February 15, 2024. 

After winning the match against GT, this was the third win for the team in three consecutive matches, sparking hope for a comeback in the league after a horrifying first half of the season. The franchise is currently placed seventh in the points table with 8 points. 

They also boast a higher net run rate over both, Punjab Kings and Gujarat Titans, who have the same points.
