[Watch] Indian Cricketers Cheers For Hockey Team Against Pakistan in Asian Games

With the Cricket World Cup 2023 going on in India, the Indian contingent in the Asian Games is performing brilliantly, most recently against Pakistan, as the Men in Blue thrashed their rivals by 10-2 in Hockey. Found supporting them in the stands were the boys who will be soon seen donning the Indian jersey on the cricket field led by skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad.

The hockey match heavily ended in India's favour as skipper Harmanpreet Singh smashed four goals, with others chipping in as well to help the side top Pool A. Gongshu Canal Sports Park Stadium hosted the game with several fans filling up the stadium alongside the men's cricketers who will start their journey in this Asian Games 2022 on 3rd October in the Quarter-Finals directly.

Alongside Gaikwad, Arshdeep Singh, Rahul Tripathi, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rinku Singh, Shahbaz Ahmed, Shivam Dube, Mukesh Kumar, Tilak Varma Prabhsimran Singh and Jitesh Sharma were seen enjoying the game that brought India pride.

Talking about cricket, the women's team ended up with a gold medal as they brilliantly fought against the Sri Lankan side in the finals to defeat them by 19 runs.

By the end of day 7, India's medal tally stands at an impressive 38 with a total of 10 gold medals as the country is placed fourth in the overall tally as they hope to cross the 100 medal mark.
