Celebrated Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya introduced his newest family member to fans via Instagram in a cute yet stylish video.

Pandya has been away from action for a couple of months now. He sustained an ankle injury during the ODI World Cup and is currently under a rigorous rehabilitation program supervised by NCA's top officials.

The board did not intend to rush his recovery ahead of the T20 World Cup and thus excluded his name from the final squad for the Afghanistan T20 series.

Meanwhile, Hardik Pandya is utilising his time off the field to rejuvenate mentally whilst working on his physical fitness. The all-rounder recently shared a cute video with his new pet 'Furball.' The video was shot at a shoot location as Hardik introduced his newest family member to the crew members.

To those unaware, Hardik Pandya is extremely fond of pets and is a proud owner of two dogs, Aston and Bentley. And now 'Furball' is the newest and youngest member of the Pandya family.

On a professional front, Hardik Pandya's fitness issues have grabbed unnecessary headlines in the past few months. Ever since he underwent back surgery, the all-rounder has struggled to manage his workload with both ends of the ball.

Moreover, despite keeping bowling duties on the back burner, Pandya has not been immune to injury concerns. That raises a lot of eyebrows about Hardik's athleticism and fitness standards.

Nonetheless, the board and NCA facility are trying their best to manage his fitness by the time of the T20 World Cup. The all-rounder has begun sweating in the gym. But is yet to resume on-field training.

Moreover, as per the latest rumours, Pandya is expected to return to IPL to lead Mumbai Indians as the franchise's newly appointed captain. However, BCCI has yet to provide a clean chit for the alleged participation.
