[Watch] MS Dhoni Celebrates Fan's Birthday; Touching Gesture Wins Hearts

MS Dhoni will be seen in IPL 2024 leading defending champions CSK [X.com]

Former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni remains a fan favourite even after leaving international cricket in 2019, as seen by his ever-growing following across social media platforms. 

While being such a superstar, Dhoni often displays humility and compassion towards his fans, and on Thursday, one fan named Raushan Kumar Mehta received his most cherished gift on his birthday when the current Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain celebrated the fan's special occasion in Ranchi.

Kumar, who is a graduate of Birsa Agricultural University in Ranchi, shared videos on Instagram featuring Dhoni, where the former two-time World Cup-winning captain could be seen singing the celebratory song and feeding the cake to the birthday boy himself.

In the clip, Kumar tagged the 42-year-old cricketer as 'Agricultural Advisor MS Dhoni Bhaiya' with the caption, "Thank you so much bhaiya for making special bday… it’s really surprising for me Mahi bhaiya ❤️"

On several occasions, Dhoni has surprised his fans with heartwarming gestures, which range from signing autographs, clicking photos, and giving young cricketers and fans a ride in his car, to celebrating birthdays with his acquaintances.

Meanwhile, Dhoni, who has been away from cricket since the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 Final, is currently preparing for the upcoming season which could possibly be the CSK captain's last.

Dhoni, since 2008, has featured in all IPL editions and has guided CSK to a record-levelling five titles.
