Virat Kohli is making headlines once again after his brilliant century in the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy. The Indian star made a special gesture for his fans and followers on social media by wishing them a Merry Christmas on the eve of December 25.

Taking to his official Instagram handle, where Virat Kohli is not known to be very active personally, the RCB star shared an Instagram story featuring a Christmas tree along with a heartfelt message for his followers.
Kohli wrote, “May this season fill your home with warmth, your heart with joy, and your life with happiness that lasts all year long. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.”

Kohli, who has 274 million followers on Instagram, is particularly known for posting only brand endorsements and sponsored advertisements on his official account.
There have been minimal to no posts about his personal life since his Test retirement. However, following India’s T20 World Cup triumph and RCB’s victory in IPL 2025, Kohli has been more active on Instagram and has been showering fans with adorable pictures of himself alongside his wife, Anushka Sharma.

While the special story made the day for his fans, cricket lovers especially admired what Virat Kohli delivered on his Vijay Hazare Trophy comeback on December 24.
Kohli turned out for his home side Delhi against Andhra, and the chase master was at his fluent best in the one-day contest. Chasing Andhra’s target of 299 runs from 50 overs, Kohli walked in at number three to steady Delhi after they slipped to 1 for 1 inside the opening over.
He anchored the innings with a superb century, scoring 131 runs off 101 balls at a strike rate of 129.70.
Although he did not stay till the end, his teammates Harsh Tyagi and Navdeep Saini ensured the chase was completed in just 37.4 overs, as Delhi clinched the match by four wickets.
Virat Kohli is likely to play for Delhi once again in their second Elite Group D match against Gujarat on December 26.
