At just 14 years old, Vaibhav Suryavanshi has become a rising star in Indian cricket, and now, he’s turning heads in England too. Currently with the India U19 team, Vaibhav saw two girls showing just how far they’d go to meet him.

Suryavanshi attained fame when he slammed a flamboyant century in the IPL 2025 season for the Rajasthan Royals. To sharpen his raw talent, BCCI put him in India’s U19 team for a tour to England.

Meanwhile, in an interesting development, Vaibhav Suryavanshi met two fans who made a lot of effort to reach him. Aanya and Rivaa, both around the same age as Vaibhav, drove for six hours to reach Worcester just to take a picture with the young batter.

Dressed in Rajasthan Royals pink jerseys, the girls waited eagerly to cheer for their favourite player. When they finally met him, it was a moment to remember.

Even the Rajasthan Royals' official social media account posted their story, calling it “proof why we have the best fans.”

And it’s easy to see why fans are so excited. In the 4th Youth ODI against England, Vaibhav Suryavanshi smashed a blistering 143 off just 60 balls, reaching his century in only 52 balls, the fastest in youth ODI history.

Suryavanshi Sets Bigger Goals After 100 In England

After smashing a breathtaking 143 off 52 balls in the Youth ODI series against England A, Indian prodigy Vaibhav Suryavanshi now has his sights on an even bigger feat: becoming the first batter to score a double century in Youth ODIs.

"I was very inspired by him (Shubman Gill) because I saw the game. Even after scoring 100 and 200, he kept at it and took the game forward. So, I also had it in mind that I could have batted for longer because there was a lot of time, 20 overs were left.  I will speak to my family and friends and try to score 200 next time," Suryavanshi told BCCI.

Drawing inspiration from Shubman Gill’s monumental knocks of 269 and 161 in the Edgbaston Test, Vaibhav said he too wanted to bat deep and dominate. Though he missed out this time, he’s hungry for more.
