India cricketer Tilak Varma recently dropped an ice-cold swagger look, sporting a man bun tied neatly at the back of his hair. Varma pulled off the style with ease as he shared the picture online, wearing a beige coloured blazer and matching trousers, complemented by a relaxed smile.

The look closely mirrors a growing trend in Bollywood fashion. Notably, the Ranveer Singh-starrer Dhurandhar has influenced many cricketers, especially with its popular songs inspiring celebrations on the popular Fa9la dance.

Ranveer Singh inspired look of Tilak Varma breaks the internet

Moving away from the fun, groovy, and catchy dance track, Tilak Varma’s appearance drew strong comparisons with Ranveer Singh’s viral long-hair man bun look from the same film, where he played the character of Hamza Ali.

Varma posted the picture of his latest hairstyle on his official Instagram account just a few hours ago with the caption, “Hair game on point.”

The post received 161,000 likes within two hours, with fans flooding the comment section with praise and admiration. Celebrity hairstylist Aalim Hakim, known for styling Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav, also reacted to the post with a fire emoji.

Tilak Varma going strong on the cricketing front

On the cricketing front, Tilak Varma has been enjoying a successful run of form. He followed up a solid South Africa series in December with an impressive Vijay Hazare Trophy stint.

After being named in India’s T20 World Cup 2026 squad, he is once again being viewed as a potential game-changer following his Asia Cup 2025 final heroics, which helped India lift the trophy.

In the Vijay Hazare Trophy Elite 2025-26, Varma scored a century against Chhattisgarh on January 3. He also averaged 62.33 from four matches against South Africa in December 2025, registering two half-centuries in the series.
