After Yash Dayal, another prominent name associated with RCB has landed in controversy ahead of the IPL 2026 season. Swastik Chikara, who was a part of the title-winning team last season, is going through turmoil with the leaked chat screenshots circulating on social media.
This incident has triggered a widespread debate as the former RCB player is getting criticism on social media for his actions. The player was released by the franchise before the IPL 2026 mini auction, and the team didn’t buy him back as fans are speculating that his off-field actions is one of the major reasons as to why Chikara went unsold.
Social media user shares Chikara’s chat screenshots
A social media user shared a post online, stating that she met Swastik Chikara at a mall in Kanpur, and he invited her and a friend for a coffee. Radhika Sharma, the user, mentioned that at first, she didn’t recognise the cricketer since she doesn’t follow the game, but claimed that after the meeting, Chikara stalked her on social media, and started sending flirty messages.
"After a day or two, he started flirting, so I removed him," the user wrote in her post. She further alleged that despite being removed, Chikara continued to "pressurize" her to meet him at a specific cafe or restaurant," the user wrote as she exposed the former RCB player.

She also revealed the chats the two had, where Chikara could be clearly seen asking her to meet her at Starbucks.
After Yash Dayal, Chikara ruins RCB's name
Chikara was released by the franchise before the 2026 season, but the same action has not been taken against Yash Dayal, who is under fire for his own off-field incidents. Dayal, the left-arm pacer, was RCB’s key player in the title-winning campaign, but in mid-2025, the fast bowler was accused of sexual exploitation in two separate police cases in Ghaziabad and Jaipur.
A woman filed an FIR in Ghaziabad, accusing Dayal of harassment, physical abuse and mental harassment over a five-year relationship period under the false promise of marriage. Surprisingly, Dayal was retained by the franchise in a shocking move, and this tarnished their reputation as RCB faced backlash online.
Now, after the Dayal case, Chikara’s chat screenshots have been leaked as the player was accused of stalking a girl he met at a mall. Fans online have been blaming the RCB franchise for buying players without their background check.
