India’s T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav becomes the latest Indian cricketer to launch his own YouTube channel. Suryakumar, who has been candid in recent interviews and podcasts, will be now sharing the snippets of his on-field and off-field life on YouTube.

"Yaha bhi aagaya mai"

After giving a series of interviews in last few days, Suryakumar Yadav came up with his own YouTube channel on Saturday, October 18. His wife already has a YouTube channel named ‘Devisha Suryakumar Yadav’. Now Suryakumar has joined the trend. Most of the cricketers launched channels after retiring from international cricket but Ravi Ashwin started to share videos during his playing days. Suryakumar decided to follow the same path.

With a very simple and short description, Suryakumar Yadav started his journey as a YouTube content creator. The channel already has a few short videos with an introductory one where Suryakumar is asking everyone to subscribe to the channel. The caption reads,

“Yaha bhi aagaya mai guysss, hit SUBSCRIBE now!”

Suryakumar on losing ODI captaincy to Gill

Meanwhile, in his recent interview with Indian Express Suryakumar spoke about the fear he carries. With India’s preference of to have one captain across all the formats and Gill becoming the new ODI captain after leading the side in Test, Suryakumar “feels that fear”.

"I am very happy for him that he has become captain in two formats. He has done really well. I won't lie, everyone feels that fear. But, it is the kind of fear that keeps you motivated.”

He further added,

“The camaraderie between me and him is amazing off the field and on it. I know what kind of player and human he is. So, it just motivates me to do well, but I am happy for him.”

Suryakumar will lead India in the upcoming T20I series against Australia starting from October 29.
