'Super Guy': Anushka Sharma Hails Hubby Virat Kohli For 'Super Knock' vs PAK

Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma often accompanies her husband Virat Kohli to the ground whenever the cricketer is on his national duty. Moreover, she also attends venues to extend her support from the stands during Kohli’s IPL matches for RCB.
Whenever the actress is unable to attend the stadium, she makes her presence felt through her social media accounts. Unsurprisingly, Anushka Sharma was quick to congratulate her husband’s latest batting blitzkrieg against Pakistan at Colombo this ongoing Asia Cup 2023.
Anushka Sharma hails ‘Super Knock’ by husband Virat
Virat Kohli took field against Pakistan in their Asia Cup 2023 Super Four clash in Colombo with 12,902 runs to his name. As it turned out, the cricketer mauled Pakistan’s high-flying bowling attack with a scorching 122* to notch up his 47th ODI century, and also completed 13,000 runs in the format.
The batting veteran faced 94 deliveries in his innings, which was glittered by nine boundaries and three sixes against the likes of Shaheen Afridi, Naseem Shah and Shadab Khan.
Kohli’s wife, Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, acknowledged his historic knock by taking to her Instagram account. Just moments after Kohli’s blitzkrieg, Sharma added a picture of her husband’s century celebration on her story alongside a cheerful caption. She wrote:
Super knock, super guy!!
In the meantime, Virat Kohli’s century, alongside KL Rahul’s 111* took Team India to a colossal 356-2 from their 50 overs. Opening batters Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill also charted sparkling half-centuries from their ends and formed a 121-run stand upfront.
India’s Asia Cup 2023 match against Pakistan on September 11 marked their first Super Four outing this tournament.
