Taking the reins from Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill is leading Team India in the second Test series on home soil. As the Men in Blue are taking on South Africa in the first Test at the iconic Eden Gardens, fans are enjoying some unreal red-ball action live.

On the first day of the Test match, Eden Gardens recorded major attendance as fans were enjoying the Men in Blue's domination on the field. Among the sea of fans, cameras spotted Shubman Gill's father cheering proudly from the stands. But his brief exchange with an Indian fan stole the spotlight and quickly went viral.

In the viral video, a fan was seen greeting Lakwinder Singh, Gill's father. After that, he said, "Uncle ji, Gill bhai ki shadi kab karwa rahe ho?" His father replied, "Usko pata hai mujhe kya pata hai?"

After that, the fans asked that 'One' question. He asked, "Sara madam se karwa rahe ho ya nahi?" The moment he uploaded the clip online, the playful exchange between Gill's father and the fan exploded across social media.

Returning to the longest format after a thrilling white-ball tour, Team India showcased excellence on the opening day of the ongoing Eden Test. After South Africa chose to bat first, the decision backfired on them as the Indian bowlers tightened their grips early on.

While batting on day one, Team India lost an early wicket of Yashasvi Jaiswal in 12 runs.
