After a brief break, The 35-year-old returned to action during the Sri Lanka ODI tour. Unfortunately, the Indian team faced a rare 2-0 series defeat, marking their first ODI series loss to Sri Lanka in 27 years. Despite the setback, the star batter played crucial knocks, scoring 157 runs in 3 innings with a strike rate of 141.44.
