The Duleep Trophy will start on September 5 and will feature four squads - India A, India B, India C, India D and as of now all the matches are to be played in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh. However, with no air connectivity to the town, BCCI is planning to have one round of matches at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

It will be the first Test series for India under the new head coach Gautam Gambhir, and with all Test players playing domestic cricket and India would be looking to start off with a bang after the disappointment of ODI series against Sri Lanka.
